    Standard National Licence

This licence allows you to transport goods that you own across the EU and to charge for transporting goods not owned by you within the UK on a hire and reward basis. Companies working in haulage and transportation services within the UK will need to apply for this licence. Current legislation prohibits the carriage of goods for hire and reward in the EU without an international operator's licence.

    Advantages and Benefits

Designed to increase the chances of a successful application, this package includes rigorous checks of all supporting documentation and ongoing guidance throughout the process.

We prepare your maintenance agreement, operating centre usage consent letter and GVOL notice, which must be published in a qualifying newspaper, failure of which will result in re-advertising costs and delays.  Liaising with the Traffic Commissioner’s office throughout the process, we ensure that you are registered with the Traffic Area Network online so you can take advantage of their self-service option after your licence has been granted.

    CPC Transport Manager Referrals

Transport Managers are equally responsible for the legal undertakings associated with the Standard National Operators Licence. It is vitally important that your nominated CPC Transport Manager is of good standing and repute, appropriately qualified, and has completed a Refresher course within the last 5 years. You should also be advised that Freelance Transport Managers are limited to cover up to a maximum of 50 vehicles with no more than 4 separate operators. Applications are often referred to the Commissioner where there is doubt about the professional competence of the nominated Transport Manager. Use our referral service for added peace of mind.
